Clovis Community College is making significant strides in enhancing its athletic facilities with the construction of the ISE Diamond L.I.F.E. Sports Complex. This state-of-the-art facility aims to provide student-athletes and the local community with top-tier sports amenities.
Facility Highlights
Located on the southwest corner of the campus, the complex will feature:
- A competition soccer field
- An all-weather competition track with runways and pits
- A support building housing a new athletic training room, locker rooms, and showers
- Bleachers, a press box, and a video scoreboard with integrated sound
- Public restrooms and other amenities
Designed to host state championship-caliber events, the complex is expected to elevate the athletics experience for student-athletes and the broader community.
Community Impact
The project is made possible by Measure C and a generous $500,000 donation from Jami Hamel De La Cerda, founder and CEO of Diamond Learning Center, Inc. The complex is named in honor of her sons: Isaiah, Samuel, and Elijah.
Clovis Community College’s Athletic Director, James Sewell, emphasized the importance of this development, noting that it will provide dedicated spaces for athletes and potentially serve the broader community.
As construction progresses, the ISE Diamond L.I.F.E. Sports Complex stands as a testament to Clovis Community College’s commitment to fostering athletic excellence and community engagement.
